About

And I love creating things people are proud of.

Hi, I'm Eda.

I’m a writer, creative, and content strategist based in Los Angeles. My writing has appeared in publications like Teen Vogue, New York Magazineand the New Yorker, and I’ve been featured for my work in NPR’s All Things Considered, AJ+, PAPER, and the New York Times, among others.

Something else about me — a Salinger quote I read at age 15 said: “Don’t ever start telling anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everything.”

Many years later, I realized just how defiantly I ignored his advice: I live for telling stories — creating brief, riveting whirlwinds that make people feel something, even if just for a moment. Salinger, however, was right about one thing. You really do start missing everything once you start sharing. But I guess I just can’t imagine where I would be if I stopped.

I’m currently available for editorial assignments, branded content creation, and freelance copywriting projects. My professional background is available on LinkedIn. To keep up with my editorial work, follow me on Instagram. If you have any questions or want to work together, please reach out at eda.cyu@gmail.com.
